GENDER: COMEDY / FANTASY / ADVENTURE
Three eccentric middle-aged brothers share a peyote vision that forces them to go out looking for the lost head of their hero, Pancho Villa. But when they venture into the world, they encounter all kinds of madness.
Patitos Feos is a surreal comedy about three eccentric middle-aged brothers from Chihuahua, who still share a bed and have never left their ranch. Chuy, Pepe and Abelardo live with their grandmother Gringa, who spends his days feeding them with delusional stories about his supposed grandfather and the love of his life: José Doroteo Arango Arámbula, better known as Pancho Villa. On the night of a lunar eclipse, after entertaining their grandmother with songs from the Mexican Revolution, the three brothers share a peyote vision that forces them to look for their legendary grandfather’s lost head. Accompanied by their only mare, the brothers venture into the world, where they find all kinds of follies.
